Sun Salutation

A Sun Salutation is one of the most popular yoga sequences.  It works and stretches most of the major muscle groups in the body and focuses on breathing with the movements.  It is very beneficial to use Sun Salutations in the morning to wake up your muscles and joints or anytime during the day, especially if you've spent a few sedentary hours in one position.  It is usually recommended that you complete at least 5-6 Sun Salutations at a time, however, just completing one or two will be beneficial.
