Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release refers to the application of manual techniques that stretch the fascia, or connective tissue, that lies between the muscles and the layers of the skin. Myofascial techniques are especially helpful for increasing range of motion and for postural and biomechanical dysfunctions. Myofascial techniques are applied without lotion and using a shear compression or tension moving towards the direction of restriction.
