Massage for chronic pain, rehabilitation and injury prevention will usually involve a mixture of Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, joint mobilizations and very specific techniques designed to properly align developing or misaligned scar tissue. Your massage therapist can begin working with you at the acute stage of healing to ensure timely recovery and maximum restoration of function. Home care exercises will be strongly suggested as an ongoing part of any rehabilitation or injury prevention treatment plan. Treatments and Home Care will focus on elimination of the root cause of the injury or chronic pain and restoration of normal function.
